Natasha Poplavska, born in 1971 Skopje, Macedonia.

Her interest for stage art originates from early childhood days, as she grows up in a family with strong ballet history. Before finishing the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Skopje, together with her university colleague Sinisha Evtimov put on stage David Mamet’s "Edmond" in Macedonian National Theater in 1995. This was the first time for Dramatic Arts students in Macedonia  to be allowed to work as directors in national theater houses. Since then, Natasha’s interests have varied from ballet, physical theater, classic drama, ancient writers to opera and musicals. In 2000 she directed David Hare's "The Blue Room" as "ARTMedia" (association for culture development) first project in co-production with Macedonian National Theater.  In 2010, she obtained her master’s degree at the University of Sheffield, in the field of marketing in contemporary theater.

Her version of "Lysistrata" by Aristophanes, staged in Comedy Theater Skopje, 2014 was played in Albania, Croatia, Serbia and Bulgaria. 

Natasha directed contemporary ballet "14 HOURS" with choreographer Igor Kirov in Macedonian Ballet and Opera.

In 2015 Natasha Poplavska stages "Chicago" the first licenced Broadway musical in Macedonia.

Maja Mitić, born 1963, Niš, Serbia is a professional actress and pedagogue more than 30 years. 

She is graduate of The Academy of Arts, Novi Sad, where she studied acting as a selected conservatoire student. During university, on second year, she began professional career as the lead actress in the cult film "Šmeker". From 1984-1991 she worked in several theaters including the National Theater of Belgrade (Oresteia by Aeschylus). then films, radio and TV. From 1991, as a core/founding member and vice director of DAH Teatar Research Center she is part of first independent laboratory theater in Yugoslavia, then in Serbia.In this theater she made more than 50 roles including collaborations in Spain, Sweden, USA, UK, Denmark, Macedonia. 

She wrote couple of scenarios for theater performance and TV spots and directed performances and 3 documentary movies. Maja Mitić is a guest lecturer at numerous USA and UK universities including Goldsmiths-University of London, where she is a regular tutor on the MA in Performance Making. In the last 3 years, besides acting she worked as: General manager of the Project "IN/Visible City" EU CULTURA 2011/12 and Artistic Director of IPA project: "Empowering young Women to Monitor Government Commitments in Gender Equality" IPA 2012/13. From this year 2017 she is artistic director of  International Nišville Jazz Theater Festival. She met with director Nataša Poplavska as a partner on EU project "IN/Visible City" where they worked together. Collaboration continued  as CREATIVE SCENE/MOVEMENT DIRECTOR on the performance "Mourning Becomes Electra" 2015 and "Merchant of Venice" 2017.
